The visibility and increasing activities of the WFPHA require a regular presence in Geneva. The WFPHA is frequently asked to send representatives to meetings by international governmental and non-governmental organisations, many of which are located in Geneva. Within the framework of the strategic goals of the WFPHA, the Geneva office will work to forward the organization’s advocacy agenda. This office will report back to the executive board and to member associations of the WFPHA using a “technical newsletter”. The Geneva office plans to invite the voluntary collaboration of experts on specific topics, as well as create a network of specialists to assist and/or represent the WFPHA at key meetings.

With more than 20 organizations present, this official launch has been a success and a promise of a future full of interesting collaborations.
